MPH: Norris had no sympathy for Russell's F1 car complaints. Here's why
|
Lando Norris responded bluntly to George Russell's complaints of struggling to adapt to this year's Mercedes F1 car. It exposed more than just their different driving styles, says Mark Hughes; it shows where their heads are at
Interesting recently to hear Lando Norris address George Russell’s difficulties adapting his driving style to the 2026 generation of car. “I had to change my driving style every single year of my life,” the McLaren driver said. “I guess [not changing] worked for him for 20 years. Not for me. My driving style worked in 2018, then that’s it. Since then, I’ve always had to change. The more experience you have in F1, the more prepared you are. If you’re not ready to adapt to a different machine, then you’re not at the right level.

|
As racing components find new life as furniture and artwork, memorabilia specialist Andrew Francis explains why they don't always make lucrative investments.
There’s been a noticeable rise in recent years in upcycled, recycled or reimagined racing items, such as grand prix brake discs being turned into wall clocks or used wheels into tables. These items are often lovely as a thing, but do they cut it as investment items?
