Few racing names stir passions quite like Carroll Hall Shelby.
Born in Texas the one-time chicken farmer is the only person to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans as a driver with Aston Martin in 1959, as a manufacturer with the Cobra Daytona Coupe in 1964 and as a team manager in 1966 and 1967 for the Ford GT program – the latter of which was immortalised in the film Le Mans '66.
