Freshly resurfaced ahead of its return for the first time since the 2020 season, the Automotodrom Brno has long been missed by fans, riders and teams. Undulating and a circuit that provides a great mix of hard braking, corner speed and heavy acceleration – the Czechia GP is bound to thrill on its return. Honda has won the premier class Czechia GP on 19 occasions since 1966. Luca Marini defied the odds on his return from injury, not simply scoring points but earning his best result as a factory Honda HRC rider to date. It's all about momentum for the still-recovering Italian, Marini keeping grounded and focusing on the day-to-day progress of himself and the Honda RC213V. Before a brief test ahead of the German GP, Marini's most recent experience in Brno was in the 2020 round where he finished fourth in the Moto2 race. Reconnecting with lady luck will be crucial for Joan Mir at the Czechia GP, the 2020 World Champion robed of a solid result in heartbreaking fashion last time out in Germany. Despite several difficult weekends in 2025, Mir has consistently been able to show the grit of a champion and dig deep on Sunday – even if his efforts have gone unrewarded. Just a small adjustment in the winds of luck will no doubt set Mir up for a positive weekend. The #36 won the 2017 Czechia GP on his way to the Moto3 World Championship title. Luca Marini  10 "I've been focused on continuing to improve my condition and each day I am getting better. The result we had in Germany continues to give me a lot of motivation and in Brno I am looking to make another step, increase the intensity of the weekend and perform like we were before. The test we had here a few weeks ago will help a little bit with the base, but still lots to do and keep working on the bike." Joan Mir  36 "Looking ahead to Brno, the first time there in a few years and a bit of a new challenge for us. It looks like the new surface they have done is very good and offers a lot of grip. A lot has changed in MotoGP since we were last there so we have to see how we as Honda HRC Castrol go there. The last weekends haven't been easy for us but on Sunday I've always been able to get something more, even if it hasn't always ended how we want. This is motivating, it shows we have potential."
