However, Sunday's Indonesian GP suggests there's finally some light at the end of the tunnel… This weekend's Japanese Grand Prix is obviously a big deal for MotoGP's remaining Japanese manufacturers, but this year's event is particularly significant, because if neither Honda nor Yamaha win at Motegi or at the final four GPs of 2024, it will be the first year since 1970 that Japan's motorcycle industry hasn't won a single premier-class GP.
