Nigel Mansell pulled off one of the most legendary overtakes in Formula 1 history on this day in 1990.
Driving for Ferrari, the Englishman was chasing down Gerhard Berger's McLaren during the closing stages of the Mexican Grand Prix.
Approaching the ultra-fast Peraltada corner, Mansell swooped round the outside of the McLaren, taking the postion and leaving the crowd breathless.
It was a typically courageous and gutsy move from Mansell, and the reason why the Tifosi nicknamed him Il Leone (The Lion)
