Red Bull Racing claimed their first Grand Prix victory on this day in 2009.
A little over four years since the team was founded from the ashes of Jaguar, Sebastian Vettel took pole position and the victory at a soaking wet Shanghai International Circuit, announcing Red Bull's intentions as a serious player in Formula 1 for all the paddock to see. Teammate Mark Webber came home second, a dream one-two for the team from Milton Keynes
14 years, six Drivers' Championships and five Constructors' Championships later, it's safe to say that few would have predicted the magnitude of Red Bull's success on that rainy Shanghai afternoon in 2009.
