The Legendary Sir Stirling Moss peacefully passed away on this day in 2020.
"Mr Motor Racing" as he was known, was arguably the greatest Formula 1 driver to never win the World Championship. Getting agonizingly close a number of times, Stirling effectively cost himself the Championship in 1958, arguing for title-rival Mike Hawthorn's disqualification from the 1958 Portuguese Grand Prix to be overturned.
Equally talented in sportscars, his 1955 Mille Miglia win, the first by a British Driver, will be remembered forever in the hearts of Motor Sport enthusiasts.
Moss passed away peacefully at the age of 90 at his home in Mayfair.
