Stage set for 2016
Dear BMW Motorrad fans,

2015 is gradually drawing to a close – and we are already looking forward to the 2016 season. Four BMW S 1000 RRs are now confirmed to be racing in the FIM Superbike World Championship. The Althea BMW Racing Team will be joined by Milwaukee BMW in  the highest echelon of motorcycle racing. The British team’s two RRs will be ridden by reigning BSB champion Josh Brookes and former MotoGP rider Karel Abraham.

 

Meanwhile, Tyco BMW has announced its plans for the 2016 British Superbike Championship: Michael Laverty will continue to do battle for victories and points on the Tyco BMW S 1000 RR. His new team-mate is Christian Iddon.

New in WSBK: Milwaukee BMW

Another BMW customer team has confirmed it will race in the FIM Superbike World Championship in 2016: Milwaukee BMW will field two BMW S 1000 RRs next season, to be ridden by Josh Brookes and Karel Abraham.

Tyco RRs for Laverty and Iddon

The plans for 2016 are taking shape at Tyco BMW: having secured the services of Ian Hutchinson for road racing events at the end of October, the riders for the British Superbike Championship have now also been confirmed: Michael Laverty and Christian Iddon will compete in the Superbike class, with Hutchinson racing in the Superstock class.
