The RR dominant in Macau
Dear BMW Motorrad fans,

It was a historic victory for BMW Motorrad: The BMW S 1000 RR was the dominant motorcycle at the legendary Macau Grand Prix this year. Peter Hickman, Martin Jessopp and Michael Rutter got the first one-two-three result for BMW at this famous road race. In our news, we take another look at the spectacular action in the narrow streets of Macau.

The BMW privateers were also successful in Sepang and claimed further podium positions at the season finale of the Malaysia Superbike Championship.

Meanwhile, our customer teams are busy making plans for next season. In the FIM World Superbike Championship, a new BMW privateer team will field two BMW S 1000 RRs: the Althea BMW Racing Team. Riders Jordi Torres and Markus Reiterberger have been signed.

New additions have also joined two BMW Teams in the SUPERBIKE*IDM: Van Zon-Remeha BMW and Wilbers-BMW-Racing.
