Out front together
Dear BMW Motorrad fans,

There was plenty of cause for celebration for the BMW racers in the FIM CEV Superbike European Championship at the weekend: the penultimate event of the season in Jerez saw them make a combined assault on the head of the field. The BMW S 1000 RR claimed four podium finishes and two one-twos in the privateer class. RR rider Eeki Kuparinen is on course to win the Privateer title. He tops the standings by eight points going into the final round of the season.

For the Japanese BMW riders, the season drew to a close in Suzuka. They contested the final two races of the year in the MFJ Superbike All Japan Road Race Championship and also had a successful end of season.
