At the very top in the BSB
Dear BMW Motorrad fans,

In an interview last week, Tyco BMW rider Michael Laverty stated his goal for the season finale of the British Superbike Championship: finishing on the top step of the podium. He put this into action in Brands Hatch at the weekend. He celebrated his first win on the BMW S 1000 RR and also claimed another podium position. The BMW privateers were also successful once again in the Superstock class. We provide a summary of the “Battle of Brands”.

The FIM World Superbike Championship season also came to an end. Unique conditions awaited the BMW racers at the finale in Qatar: the action at the Losail International Circuit takes place when the gigantic floodlight system turns night into day.

We also take a look at Japan this week, where the final spurt of the MFJ Superbike All Japan Road Racing Championship season has begun.
